There will be three optional tours offered to delegates on October 30, 2025. They are as follows:
- Optional Tour A :
Ching-Kuo Chi Hai Cultural Park (經國七海⽂化園區)
Sitting under Jiantan Mountain and stretching over 3.98 hectares, this historical and cultural park encompasses the Former President Chiang Ching-Kuo’s Presidential Library and residence, in addition to trails along the Seven Seas Lake. The architect designed the Presidential Library to be harmonious with its natural surroundings and meet the standards of a “green (eco- friendly)building.” This park has become a new tourist attraction and cultural landmark in Taipei City. - Optional Tour B
Kuang Tzu Po Ai Park (廣慈博愛園區)
A public housing complex, readily accessible by public transportation, that combines public and elderly housing, disabled and social service facilities and community gardens. The social service facilities comprise of a women’s support and empowerment center, a child care center, a youth center, a disabled care center and two elderly care facilities. - Optional Tour C
Historical Dihua Street (⼤稻埕迪化街)
The oldest street in Taipei, Dihua Street architecture has been preserved with some sections in existence since the rule of the Dutch in the 1600s. The restored buildings now house clothing boutiques, craft shops and modern cafés.
Once the center of commerce and trade in traditional goods such tea, medicine, herbs, and fabrics, some of the 100+ year businesses are still in operation. There are also old temples, unique museums, traditional markets and street food in the area, making the street a magnet for tourists.
